People appear optimistic
On March 12-13, 2010 aigroup conducted the VI Moscow International Investment Show at "Tishinka", Moscow. Its participants shared their impressions.
"As always we are fully satisfied with the event organization," pointed out Endre Erdos, General Director, WESTINVEST. "We trust the marketing done by the show organizers and their work with visitors because we see that people obtain timely and requisite information." The ability of the organizers to gather the target audience is thus characterized by Olga Wolf Yucel, Sales Director, IPC Russia: "I don't know any details about their advertising campaign but people who come here know exactly what they want."
Dmitry Bogatov, Managing Director, VFI Europe, agreeing that the shows held by aiGroup always attract well-prepared audience, thinks it necessary to underline that the situation has changed for the better on the market: "People appear more optimistic, they plan real purchases rather than just study various opportunities." This is also the sentiment of Igor Kukui, senior manager of Fort Noks operating in the Bulgarian market: "People of Russia are now taking increasingly keener interest in overseas markets and particularly in Bulgaria."
Sergey Sander, Partner of Vostok-Zapad, pays attention to the fact that despite the growing number of real estate agencies, there's an explicit dearth of experts with profound knowledge of the market, a knack for legislative details and understanding of the property management process. From this perspective the show is very useful, since it does not only allow the assessment of specific property sale offers but also demonstrates the level of professional skills of employees from different companies.
"We appreciate stability in this show," noted Andrei Demchenko, head of Cheda representatives in Russia. "We are permanent participants and our stand is always stationed in the same place. This is convenient both to us and our visitors who know where to look for us." And in the opinion of Galina Bruk, head of Platz-Montenegro representatives, the only thing that the organizers should change is to extend the business time by one or two hours: "People in Moscow take a long time to get started and go nowhere early morning; therefore the main emphasis is to be placed on the evening hours."
